2022 scheduled fights to look forward to

Boxing is the sport for hype, smack talk and constant speculation but amid all the rumours and predicted bouts, what do fans already have to look forward to this year?
Here, we take a look at the scheduled fights for 2022 that are worth circling in your diary.
Fight fans do not have to wait long to get excited about the New Year's schedule, with plenty of bumper matchups in store in just the first few months of the year.
Chris Eubank Jr v Liam Williams
This middleweight clash between British pair Chris Eubank Jr and Liam Williams was initially scheduled for last year, but Williams' shoulder injury scuppered that.
With the British Boxing Board of Control (BBBofC) suspending all bouts this month, the clash has been pushed into the first week of February - but it should be worth the wait.
Billed as a genuine grudge match, we can see this being a truly feisty encounter with Eubank Jr previously saying: "Either he will quit or get knocked out."
Williams has not pulled any punches in the build-up either, and during last year's face-off, he said: "Shut your mouth, Chris."
The Welshman added: "We're not each other's type of person. I don't have much respect for him personally. I don't like the way he goes about his business."
Williams has lost three fights to Eubank Jr's two, and both are desperate for a win in this battle of contrasting styles on February 5 in Cardiff.
Amir Khan v Kell Brook
Shortly after Valentine's Day, the much-anticipated fight between British brawlers Amir Khan and Kell Brook will finally take place - but there's not much love lost between the pair.
After more than a decade of trash talk, bitterness and failed negotiations, the rivals will finally let their fists do the talking in the ring on February 19.
The pair first crossed paths as teenagers battling for a spot on the Olympic team and have been feuding since way back in 2010.
The bout appeared dead in the water back in 2018, but after five months of negotiations, both sides put pen to paper with a real war in store between the 35-year-olds.
Josh Taylor v Jack Catterall
Josh Taylor will defend his undisputed world super-lightweight titles against mandatory challenger Jack Catterall on February 26.
Another bout that has been pushed back from its original showtime, after the Scottish champion picked up a knee injury at the back end of last year.
Taylor took to social media to vent his annoyance at being ignored by SPOTY in December after victory over Jose Ramirez completed his world titles set last year.
Taylor says he feels "almost unbeatable" at the minute and will look to defend his belts with a stylish showing on home territory at Glasgow's SSE Hydro against Catterall, who is the WBO's mandatory after 26 straight wins.
